Infe Technologies is introducing 5 kW and 10 kW home solar packages in Sri Lanka. Each package is a hybrid solar system with battery storage: solar panels power the home during the day and charge the battery, the battery powers the evening, and the grid remains connected as a backup.
The packages are zero-export, so household savings come from the electricity the family no longer buys rather than from export rates. Battery capacity is customized to each household.
The first demonstration system is being installed now. Homeowners can register their interest to be contacted as soon as the packages are available.
