From Wisconsin to Sri Lanka
Infe Technologies was founded in Wisconsin, USA, in 2016 by Prem Rohan Mirissage, an engineer with more than 30 years of experience, including six years at Bucyrus and twenty years at Caterpillar Global Mining.
Today Infe Technologies is expanding into Sri Lanka through Infe Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, with a sales and service centre in Rajagiriya. We bring technology that makes training safer, transport cleaner and energy more independent: driving and welding simulators, electric vans and solar energy with battery storage.

Prem Rohan Mirissage, ME, AMIME, MBA
Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Prem is an engineer with more than 30 years of experience in mechanical, electro-mechanical and electrical engineering, including medium- and high-voltage equipment, solar energy and electric-vehicle electrical systems.
He spent six years as a service engineer at Bucyrus, the US maker of electric mining rope shovels and draglines, and twenty years at Caterpillar Global Mining as a senior service engineer and field assembly consultant. His work took him to open-pit mines in the USA, Canada, South America, Africa, India and China, where he assembled and commissioned large electric mining shovels.
In 2016 he founded Infe Technologies LLC in Wisconsin, and he now leads its operations across the USA and Sri Lanka. After retiring from Caterpillar, he co-founded Midwest Electric Propulsion Company, which has carried out government projects, mainly engineering design and documentation work, and developed a compact, stackable high-voltage EV charging prototype. He is also involved with Eco Lodge (Pvt) Ltd – Elephant View, an eco-tourism venture in Sri Lanka.

Before founding Infe Technologies, Prem worked on the field assembly and commissioning of electric mining rope shovels as a service engineer and field assembly consultant for Bucyrus and Caterpillar Global Mining. That same hands-on engineering stands behind every simulator, electric van and solar system we supply.
